DAKSAR Volunteer Engineering Support and Boat Design
We are deeply proud to have provided volunteer engineering support to DAKSAR and to have witnessed the process of bringing the new SAR boat to life. To strengthen DAKSAR’s search and rescue operations at sea, we developed a custom boat design tailored to their needs. Throughout the design process, we meticulously implemented design solutions that accounted for operational demands and performance under challenging marine conditions. Many volunteer engineers participated in this project, contributing to every detail from the design stage to the construction phase, ensuring the successful completion of the project.
The SAR boat was designed to offer high maneuverability and durability, particularly during search and rescue operations. Its robust yet lightweight structure ensures safe navigation and operational efficiency while also providing a secure working environment for the crew. We believe this new boat will play an effective role in DAKSAR’s rescue missions at sea, accelerating their response times. With the construction process completed at İÇDAŞ Shipyard, the palamar boat has now been launched and is ready to contribute to DAKSAR’s rescue operations.
In recognition of the design support we provided, we were honored with a plaque from the DAKSAR family. Receiving this plaque on behalf of my colleagues, Kaan Güngördi and Alaz Talay, was an additional source of pride. Accepting this meaningful plaque from Mr. Murat Kaya and Mr. Adnan İrigül was an unforgettable moment, as it symbolized the appreciation of our contributions to the project.
Contributing to a community like DAKSAR and being part of this ecosystem makes both our professional and volunteer work even more meaningful. Throughout this project, we had the chance to meet many remarkable people and learn from their expertise. Supporting this meaningful project reminded us not only of our engineering knowledge but also of the importance of volunteerism and solidarity.

Witnessing the launch and initiation of the palamar boat, a new force in DAKSAR’s maritime search and rescue operations, is incredibly exciting for us.
